User Data Deletion

Under Article 17 GDPR you may request deletion of personal data we process about you. This page describes the two channels we accept and what gets deleted.

• By email: send a message to privacy@flyagent.app from the email address linked to your account, or include the WhatsApp phone number (in E.164 format, e.g. +49…) you used to chat with FlyAgent™. Subject line: Data deletion request.
• Via WhatsApp: reply DELETE to the FlyAgent™ WhatsApp number. The inbound message is matched to your phone binding and triggers the same deletion workflow.

• Your anonymous web session and any associated context.
• The binding between your WhatsApp phone number and your FlyAgent™ session.
• All chat turns (web + WhatsApp) linked to your session, including messages exchanged with the FlyAgent concierge.
• Technical access logs tied to your identifiers.

If you have completed a booking, German tax and commercial law (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB) requires us to retain booking and invoice records for up to 10 years. These records are isolated from conversational data and accessed only when legally required.

We action deletion requests without undue delay and at the latest within 30 days of receipt (Art. 12(3) GDPR). You will receive an email confirmation when deletion is complete, on the same channel you used to request it.

FlyAgent™ uses the official Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. Messages you send via WhatsApp transit Meta's infrastructure and are subject to Meta's own retention policies in addition to ours. Requesting deletion through FlyAgent™ removes the data we hold; to request erasure of data Meta holds, see Meta's WhatsApp help centre.
